I am so excited to announce that Zuza Gonçalves will be in Paris Feb 28th -March 2nd. One of the creators of Musica do Circulo, he will teach a completely new workshop he has developed. We are so lucky to be the first group to explore and experience this with him!

Rhythm in Vocal Improvisation - 28 février et 1 mars 2025

Friday and Saturday will be 2 full days exploring rhythm and pitch, essential and fully intertwined elements in melodic improvisation. Often most of the work we do as singers is related to pitch, yet rhythm is equally important.

Exploring our innate rhythmic fluency along with awareness on how rhythm manifests in our bodies, voices and circles can greatly impact and expand our improvisation possibilities.

We will apply that directly to circlesinging and co-improvisation. The approach will be inclusive, interactive and engaging using Música do Círculo pedagogy.

Música do Círculo Workshop - 2 mars 2025

On Sunday, we will learn Musica do Circulo games using the body, voice, movement, improvisation, interactive games, cooperative practices, individual expression, deep listening and non-verbal communication in a musical relational flow.

Sunday is open to all who wish to experience the joy of making music, moving and exploring body percussion and Brazilian melodies and rhythms in a collaborative creative process. No previous experience required.

Dates – February 28th and March 1st, March 2nd 2025
Times - 11h to 18h
Fee 195€ (for the 2 days February 28th and March 1st)
95€ (for Sunday March 2nd)
+ 15€ subscription to the non-profit Vibrations & Movement

For those who sign up for the 3 days, the fee on Sunday will be 65 €.
