FRANCE BRASIL improvising together

February 21 in Provence: France, Brazil, Italy and Germany gathered to sing together, celebrate the links between our communities and launch the festivities of 13 years of Chant pou Tous

This is what I’ve been looking for years, what I felt when I first attended to the Circlesongs retreat with the great Bobby Mc Ferrin 15 years ago in the USA, and then when I found this family years later still in the USA, and then his cousin family in Brazil year after year…
The first time I experienced this in France, it was for the 10 years of Chant Pour Tous, in March 2022 at the CCO of Villeurbanne. The beauty of this gathering, of the music, the richness of these meetings touched me right in my heart. I felt so much joy and gratitude for Camille, Gaël and Nicolas who had made this wonderful weekend possible. Because before this great gathering, I had to cross the ocean to dive into such a large group singing and improvising.
I remembered the feeling of isolation I had felt when I created my first Circlesongs workshops in 2010… This loneliness made me sad, I somztimes even lost a little taste for animating.
Today I am so grateful for this beautiful network that we have been creating together for years.
So around the celebration of 13 years of our great Chant pour Tous.tes, I wanted to organize an event bringing together our French community and some of its cousins abroad.

Because the Chants pour Tous » make children » well beyond the French or Belgian borders. The German community is very recent, but some communities like Fritura Livre of Brazil are as old as ours, and the Cantare per tutti have already been making the Italians sing for several years.
