A space for vocal improvisers with some experience and confidence to build and refine their collective vocal improvisation practice. An opportunity to play, grow, and receive guidance and new ideas, alongside a stable and supportive group of singers with a shared interest — and yet wildly different humans.

Sessions will include exercises and games, as well as optional individual and group “homework” to help maintain momentum between encounters.

We’ll focus on different aspects of collective vocal improvisation — ranging from free play to structured skills; from open soundscapes and vocal texture to groove-based forms, including circlesinging and other conducted modalities.

It’s possible to book individual sessions as a drop-in, or to receive discounted rates when booking the full term of 14 sessions or a half-term of 7 sessions
