Voice DNA – Looping and Vocal Improv

Voice DNA is a monthly 2-hour voice journey designed to leave you feeling both expanded and grounded. Led by Uran Apak—music artist, vocal coach, workshop leader, and co-founder of the UK Vocal Improv Festival—these sessions have been running since 2015, helping hundreds of people connect with their voices for both wellbeing and artistic growth.

In 2025, each month will feature a new focus.

Sessions are held on the second Sunday of every month. The April session, Looping and Vocal Improv, will include:

• Warming up your voice

• Breathing exercises

• Toning with the Shruti Box

• Human Loops

• Elements of Collaborative Vocal Improv (Motor, Interlocking, Melody...)

• Microphone Tips

• Loop Station Jam

• Sound Bath

• Location: A private address in North London, 6 minutes’ walk from Harringay Green Lanes Overground Station or 9 minutes' walk from Harringay Train Station. Full address will be emailed to you upon booking.

• Time: 9th of March Sunday 12:30PM - 3:00 PM (including a 15min break)

• Investment: £30 (£25 low-income option available)
