Welcome to the weekly laboratory "Journey through Voice", thurdays from 7.30 to 9.30 pm in Raval district, downtown Barcelona!
The laboratory is designed to provide you with a transformative experience based on the exploration of the multiple possibilities of your voice in a group environment full of creativity, respect and fun.
During the classes we will go through different guided and improvised practices. In each session an important part will be dedicated to the deepening and exploration of the basic mechanisms of breathing and phonation through somatic unblocking and vocal liberation practices. The creation of Circle Songs (Circle Singing) directed and/or based on collaborative vocal improvisation (CVI) will be complemented by body percussion, dance and movement. Occasionally we will use ethnic songs from various cultures as well as specific musical games to improve our musical skills (sense of rhythm, tonal awareness, etc.).
