Land Mass won the Sound on Screen Film Festival 'Best Sound' award a year or so ago. The FINAL version of the film has never been screened to the dedicated followers of this project and new audience members who may be curious!
The project was started in 2019 with a 2-day recording session with TIC! The Improvisers' Choir, directed by Jenni.
It took 3 years to get to the final version of the music-film and the final cut was never shared with the fans and followers as too many other layers of work took over in dealing with such a big project!
Now a space is clearing in which to refocus and to celebrate the win of the Sound on Screen FF Award. 🥂
The chance to screen the piece at a local cinema is also now being pursued again, after a break to concentrate on other projects.
Get your best headphones and settle in for a 48-minute surreal ride round the natural season of 1 year - guided by a mystical poem called 'Bird Bath' by spoken work poet Toby Thompson, who sets the scene for the musical odyssey.
Tickets from £2... https://www.fundeey.com/ns6wkneg
charity donation taken from the ticket for Gaza appeal.
Zoom link will be published on the Fundeey info page on the afternoon of the event!

“I was spellbound, weeping, raging and enchanted – it opens up the whole vessel of the human being.” Sarah Verney, senior music therapist, friend.
